Big Live Concert on KCSB-FM Tonight!
Tonight, Weds., March 5th, KCSB 91.9 FM in Santa Barbara, California, will broadcast and webcast the live performances of The World/Inferno Friendship Society, Ollin, and Oso
The World/Inferno Friendship Society is an "anarchist big-band [from Brooklyn, New York,] originally known for bringing their brand of circus inspired swing-punk to rooftops, basements, halls, churches and anywhere their fire-breathing mayhem was accepted."
Ollin is a Chicano Orchestra from East Los Angeles that has developed a close association in recent years with the legendary Irish punk band, The Pogues (they are scheduled to play again with that group at the Roseland Ballroom in New York on Monday, March 17th).
Oso is a Santa Barbara indie-rock quartet featuring a unicycle-riding frontman and a self-described "mathy americana" sound.
Oso performs at 8pm. Ollin at 9, and The World/Inferno Friendship Society will play at 10pm (PST).
Here’s a handy timezone converter, too, for anyone who’s interested, and click here for more info.
If you're in the area, please think about attending this terrific event! Only $10 at the door! (La Casa De La Raza is at 601 E. Montecito St. in Santa Babylon.) Thanks!
